I came across this beautiful quote and I though I should share.
“Honesty without compassion and understanding is not honesty, but subtle hostility” Roze N. Franzblau

“I sought to hear the voice of God and climbed the topmost steeple, but God declared: “Go down again – I dwell among the people.”
— John Henry Newman
I particularly like this poem since it reminds me that we are doing so much for God but so little for people. Living in Texas I am fascinated by the amount of money spent on and in the Churches, Mosque, Synagogues and other places of worship. I was at a friend’s house and saw a picture of a Mosque in Dubai that will cost 1.5 billion Dollars WOW! I am not sure why we cannot use the same money to make God happy by helping people. Who are we trying to impress?
